Q: Can you work with us in Alberta/Ontario/United States/Hong Kong?

A: Yes! We work remotely with the vast majority of our clients, as is rapidly becoming the standard throughout the industry. We regularly serve clients in the Alberta and elsewhere in Canada and the US. My personal preference is to establish some clients in the Caribbean. We communicate, as we work, in words, whether or on the phone, email, fax, mail, Fedex--you name it. It make so much sense from a business standpoint to get the best people regardless of whether you can shake hands or not. After all, it's a business relationship, not a social one.

Q: Can you meet with us in person?

A: On a case by case basis pending availability of time, and as appropriate, someone can travel to consult in person with you for projects with fees exceeding $5,000. We can either arrange to have all associated expenses forwarded to you before the trip, or you can make the arrangements yourself. Apart from actual expenses, we will not charge any fees for a pre-project consultation lasting less than two days.

Q: What services do you offer?

A: We provide all types of business services from the purchase of printers, desktop systems to Medium to large network computer configurations. We provide remote and on-site maintenance of our client networks. Our core skill areas are web service and network services. We can work with you to establish your web presence and setup up your web, e-mail and content server at either your location or our location. We can specially recruit a professional with the unique experience specifically to work for us as a contractor.

Q: How much do you charge?

A: We calculate fees based on time spent, with different rates for creative services, research, and administrative costs. The only way to compare costs accurately is by comparing estimates of the entire cost of an entire project. Fees for high-quality custom content do not vary much, at least not when considered relative to the value of the investment. Fees that seem significantly low usually pack a few surprises in the end, and that's not how we do business.

Q: Will you work on retainer?

A: We'll consider this on a case by case basis.

Q: What are your terms of service and payment?

A: Sample standard terms of service and payment are available. If you or your organization already have established terms for accepting this kind of work, we will be happy to consider them. If you prefer to sign a less detailed agreement than the one we offer, we can also simply attach the most important terms of service to the initial invoice. We offer a detailed terms of service arrangement to protect us both in the future and to make sure expectations are 100% clear to everyone.

Q: Can you charge by the hour?

A: We will make arrangements to charge by the hour at the request of the client, though you should know that our flat fees are based on the projected time spent. Generally, hourly billing is more appropriate for more open-ended projects that require very extensive consulting.

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

A: You can pay online with Visa or Mastercard through PayPal, or mail us a check (USD or CAD funds and bank accounts only) We will provide you with a link to PayPal to make your payment. you do not require a PayPal account in order to pay by PayPal.
